Francine Puckly loves to write young adult fiction, take wooded walks, whip up gluten-free pastries, and listen to instrumental jazz whenever possible. Francine holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, both from Cornell University. A former human resources professional and management consultant, Francine is passionate about the five-year strategic planning process she teaches to creatives who need concrete strategies to tackle their dreams and aspirations. She has written for newspapers, special interest journals, and college magazines and is hard at work on several young adult fiction manuscripts. By day, she is a full-time writer/editor for a U.S. military contractor. Francine served as conference director and assistant regional advisor for the New England chapter of The Society for Children Book Writers and Illustrators and is co-founder and former blogger for 24CarrotWriting.com. She and her family are writers, musicians, composers, and filmmakers. She lives in Massachusetts where she is accompanied to work each day by her two feline writing companions, Sid and Cora.
